Winter
No birds fly, and good arrows are stored. Crafty rabbits gone, and hunting dogs are cooked.
The tour was a startling success, bringing joy to many little children far and wide.
the various parts of the museum are now in a temporary state of recuperation. few of us are in our proper place, ones belonging in texas are in connecticut, ones belonging in connecticut are in texas, ones belonging in old mystic are in vermont, ones belonging in the USA are in korea. which is to say all is well.
keep eyes peeled for videos on the internet, or tour photos which will expose us for the petty small-minded miscreants we are. of particular note are the several videos on youtube of the tour end/record release/waxtravaganza at love joys.
in closing we'd like to thank all the folks who put us up or played with us, or even put up with us or played us.
may we meet again soon!

A Growing Lineup
The more help we have, the faster we can kill you
Enter Billy, the latest recruit to our southern branch. He can play just about anything, but has been adding the lap steel to our sound the last few practices. Come check out his debut performance tomorrow night at Momo's. Keep an eye out for more additions to our ghostly choir in the near future.

The Masters are Away!
a 7" record is in the future...
Well. I just shipped off the masters for the WMP North/South 7" split and I can't fucking wait to get my hands on one. WMP North is covering 3 South songs and WMP South is covering 2 North songs. Here's the track listing:
Side A: The Giant Squid (North)
Peeing in the Corner (North)
Assaassinations (South)
Side B: International Calls (South)
The Courting of a Sorceress (North)
The songs from the Northern Branch are fucking incredible, and ours didn't turn out so bad either. If this record pressing experience goes well, I've got other visions of vinyl in the future.
Keep your fingers crossed, evil ones.

The Sound of Violence
"In the Penal Colony" is a story about the last use of an elaborate torture and execution device that carves the sentence of the man on his skin in a script before letting him die, all in the course of twelve hours. As the plot unfolds, the reader learns more and more about the machine, including its origin, and original justification.
